except here you're looking for a specific type of equation,
rather than just any equation at all.
First,

to combine those cards using that operation. Once you create
two or more cards with matching values
(called a pair, triplet, etc.)

When looking for pairs using only three cards each, a useful trick is to make good use of the square root sign. Since that symbol operates on only one card, you can make a new number without needing to bring other cards into the mix. For example, here you could make a pair of 5's with √25 = 4 + 1. Try that sort of thing in different ways now!
